How easy is it to travel on the subway from Boston Logan airport to Newton Riverside Station?
We will be staying at the Hotel Indigo next to the Riverside Station. What is the best way to get there? Would like to take the subway if you can travel easy with luggage.

Take the silver line to park street and pick up the D line of the green line. The silver line has accomodations for your luggage, but the green line is a pain in the BUTT. Still, it's a pretty direct route. When you get into Logan, just ask the info desk where to pick up the silver line. There should be plenty of signs as well.

Take the T shuttle bus to the Blue line, and take the blue line outbound to Government center, get off there and switch to the green line and take the D train to Riverside. Just so you know if you buy a T ticket it will be more money than if you had the link pass. T here with ticket is $2.00 and with the card it is $1.70.

MBTA.com has a trip planner that you can map out your trip depending on how fast of a trip you want to take, how many transfers you're willing to make, etc. But the airport shuttle to the Blue Line to Government to switch to the green line is probably your best bet. There are always people on the train with luggage coming from the airport, but if you are planning on doing this at rush hour (between 4:30 and 6) the trains are insanely crowded and you may get a lot of dirty looks.

Go to the site below. This site has something called trip planner. So just go to the trip planner. The second website listed below is the direct link to the trip planner. On the start address just Logan international airport and in the end address you can either write the hotels address or write Newton Riverside Station, and by the way green line is a pain in the butt if you have lots luggage. If you don't want to go to the site then here is a detailed info for you and by the way be sure to put $6.00 handy or as a bus pass because thats how much its going to cost you to be exact its $5.50 Here is the route, these are the two routes first one will be more comfortable and easy capable for you bags but it will take longer 158 mins. * Itinerary 1 - 158 mins. * Silver Line ServiceSl1 Silver Line South Station view route Depart from Terminal B Stop 1 Arrive at So Station Silver Line (inbound) * Bus Service558 Riverside Via Newton Cor & Mass Pike Depart from Otis St & Summer St Arrive at Riverside Sta This second one is much quicker but a real pain.
