Is there any place to get free counseling/therapy in Southern California?
I am 29yo and I have felt I need therapy for over a decade. My parents divorced when I was 12 and that, along with many other experiences, has left me feeling like I could benefit from getting counseling. Unfortunately as a victim of the economy I can not afford to pay a therapist. I live in Riverside and travel to Orange County regularly. Any help would be welcome.

God can be your counseling. His word is a therapy in our life. Pray, pray is when you talk to God. He is the only one that can fulfill your heart with his presence. King David said in his Psalm 37:25: I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be blessed. Read the Psalm of King David. He went through a lot but God always helped him. He was a poor child, not wanted but God had a purpose with him, God made him a King. God has purpose with you, so talk to him in your own word and you will see miracle. Tell him about your worries and the things that you want him to do for you. Try and believe in whatever you put in his hand and you will see miracle. God wants communion with you. He created you. When your parents went to bed they did not say lets make a baby today, no, was God creating you. God give the children.Their parents have to take care of them. Otherwise Call to him and he will answer you and will show you great things. (Jeremiah 33:3), God loves you and he watches over you. Do not matter how lonesome you feel, he is close to you waiting for you to talk to him. Believe me, this is true. I can not lie because God is my Sheppard, my savior and my helper. Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37:4). The Lord will give you joy and peace in your heart. Read the Bible, it will help you. The Lord God says: Never will I leave you; Never will I forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5).
