Is there anything to do in downtown Riverside, CA on a Sunday night?
I will be traveling with a group of college students this Sunday night and I am looking for activities or events in/around downtown Riverside or near the UCR campus. We are looking for something that is not food or alcohol related.

riverside is a dump the only thing you can do there is meth and get an std

the first guy was correct.. you can visit one of the many local meth houses.. the 909 sux excuse me the 951.... riverside is still a shit hole even with another area code

Well first of all, Riverside isn't the 909, so I wouldn't necessarily listen to those guys. I'm not really sure what goes on near Mission Inn on Sundays, but it is always nice to see the Mission Inn. Also, off Central Avenue, there is the Riverside Plaza, with a movie theater and shops. Normally on the weekends they have bands playing as well. It is always nice to go and hang out there in the evenings :]

The only non-food or non-alcohol related would be a movie and the theaters are not in the downtown area. There is a somewhat older theater complex at the shopping center on University near the campus, just west of the 60/215 freeway.
