About Where is a cool place to have a big party thrown at here in Southern California

Where is a cool place to have a big party thrown at here in Southern California?
My wife is turning 30, and we want to have a big party. Maybe 50 people. We are trying to think of having it at a different and cool place. We live in Riverside, CA, but would travel as far as maybe 45 minutes to have it. Our budget I guess would be under a $1k. Whether it's just a cool place to hang out and eat, or just drink and dance.

That's actually not a lot of money for fifty people so the higher end places might be out of the question because you can't really control what people are going to order. You might try Ketchup on Sunset, or Rush Street in Culver City (you can rent the entire upstairs which has a beautiful heated balcony), Shanghai Red's has a great view of the Marina and so does Port O'Call which has private rooms and is located in San Pedro.

You've got Ontario Mills and Victoria Gardens. You can go online and find out which restaurants can hold that many people at one sitting. Then search for clubs in the area. After dinner some will want to leave so the group will be smaller and easier to manage if you go to a club. Plus if you don't want to drive home you can get a room close by. Sound like the perfect evening to me!

There is this huge castle in the IE (Riverside) to throw parties. I'm not sure on specifics. And I think its a bit pricy. But its gotta be cool to have a party in a castle. http://www.benedictcastle.com/events Mission Inn is pricy too. But I think you can throw events at one of their restaurants. And the Mission Inn in Riverside is really beautiful on the inside. http://www.missioninn.com/rooms-virtual-tour-restaurants.htm For dancing. The Sevilla night club in Riverside allows you to throw birthday parties in their club. I am not sure about the price though. I don't know if its expensive. I'm sure it is though. http://www.sevillanightclub.com/riverside/index.php Dave and Buster's at Ontario Mills is a pretty cool place to throw a party. Eat, drink, play arcade games, watch sports on the millions of tvs, play pool.. its really fun there. http://www.daveandbusters.com/specialevents/default.aspx I've seen birthdays at Mi Tortilla in Riverside. Mexican food is pretty good there too. http://www.mitortillamexicangrill.com/locations/ I've also seen parties at Castle Park in Riverside, kind of a kids thing though. http://www.castlepark.com/groups.html Hope that helped. Good luck with everything.
